Thinking about becoming a teacher?

Complete a teaching internship to gain hands-on experience in a school and discover if teaching is for you.

A teaching internship allows you to spend three weeks in a school and experience what teaching is really like. You'll work alongside other teachers in the classroom, gain new skills and get paid up to 拢400 per week. Internships take place during June and July.

Who can apply?

Student teaching internships are available to anyone currently studying for a degree related to computing, maths, physics or MFL.

We'd love to hear from you if you're an undergraduate studying science, technology, engineering or maths and interested in teaching computing, maths or physics in a secondary school.

Register your interest for a Teaching Internship

Unfortunately we have reached capacity for Internship applications for 2024/25.  However you can still register your interest for any future opportunities or if any spaces become available by using the form below.

Please include details of two referees who would be prepared to provide us with a reference for you on request. One could be a university tutor and the other could be someone who knows you well but is not a relative.

For each referee, provide their name, relationship to you (eg university tutor), email and phone number.
