Olympus is our brand new free school that opened in Sandwell in September 2023, recruiting 180 students from Sandwell and Birmingham. The school caters for students aged 11 to 16. It opened with Year-7 students only, as a six-form entry school. Olympus will grow year-on-year to provide education for 900 students after five years.

This post is made up of the following hours and roles to support the school need:
● 23.5 hours Teaching Support Assistant – paid at Level 4 SCP 4-7 - 拢23,114-拢24,294 pro rata.
● 2.5 hours HLTA to support class PPA cover – paid at Level 7 SCP 18 - 拢28,770 pro rata.
● 5 hours Lunchtime Supervisor - paid at Level 2 SCP 2 - 拢22,366 pro rata.

We wish to recruit a temporary Teaching Support Assistant to work in our wonderful school for 12 months from 1st September 2024. This post consists of 31 hours per week in total. This post is made up of the following hours and roles to support the school need:

We are seeking to appoint a temporary year 1 class teacher to join our wonderful school from Monday 4th November until 31st
December 2025. As this is a maternity cover position, our aim is to enhance the transition for the children from the current year
1 teacher to the successful candidate during the second part of the autumn term, with the new teacher taking responsibility for
the class from 1st January 2025.
