鈥淭hriving鈥� 黑料吃瓜在线永久 High School and Sixth Form is graded 鈥極utstanding in all judgement areas鈥� in recent Ofsted inspection

Staff and students at 黑料吃瓜在线永久 High School and Sixth Form are celebrating Ofsted success after the school achieved 鈥極utstanding鈥� across every judgement area in its recent inspection (8-9 October). The school and sixth form, which was deemed 鈥楪ood-improving鈥� at its last inspection in June 2022, was praised by inspectors for ensuring that all students can 鈥渁chieve their dreams鈥�.

Recognising 鈥渁 culture of positivity right across the school鈥�, inspectors said that 鈥減upils鈥� attitude to learning is exemplary鈥�, students 鈥渂ehave in a friendly, courteous manner鈥� and are 鈥渒ind, empathetic and polite鈥� towards each other. The report noted that 鈥減upils work hard, aspire highly and contribute to the thriving life of [the] unique school鈥� and 鈥渕ake the most of every moment鈥�.

Inspectors found that the curriculum at the school is 鈥渆xpertly designed to be challenging for all鈥� and that students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) 鈥渞eceive detailed, timely and appropriate support as they learn鈥�. This 鈥渢argeted support鈥� ensures that all young people 鈥渄o very well鈥�.

The school鈥檚 work to promote students鈥� personal potential was described by inspectors as a 鈥渟tand-out feature鈥� and commended 鈥渢he carefully designed pastoral structure鈥� with its 鈥渢hriving house system鈥� in helping young people at the school feel like they belong. 

Staff at the school were praised too, with inspectors noting that teachers are 鈥渆xperts in the subjects that they teach鈥� and staff 鈥渞egularly praise and reward pupils鈥�, enforcing their 鈥渧ery high expectations with kindness.鈥� Furthermore, inspectors commended the 鈥渟trong leadership鈥�, 鈥渃lear strategic vision鈥� and 鈥渃onsistent evaluation鈥� set by the headteacher and senior leaders at the school.

Commenting on the findings of the Ofsted report, headteacher, Stephen Lanckham, who has been headteacher at the school for just under a decade, said: 鈥淚t has been my privilege to serve as headteacher of this extraordinary school for nearly a decade.
